The shocking news is that the French grand prix is not on the calendar.
French officials were hoping a gap would be left in the calendar allowing them to be added to the list once the dispute has been resolved.
Double world champion Schumacher won the Japanese grand prix in 1995 in a Benetton and he said Suzuka is one of the few tracks which has not only one but a couple of high speed corners.

Seven Grand Prix were held here, five called USA-Detroit, run in 1982-86, and two editions of the U.S. Grand Prix, in 1987-88.
