Former World Indoor champion, and World and Olympic 4x100m Relay gold medallist Bruny Surin of Canada has donated his 9.84sec 1999 World Championships 100m silver medal winning bodysuit to the IAAF humanitarian project Athletics for a Better World.
Outdoors at the 1995 IAAF World Championships in Gothenburg Surin took the 100m silver behind compatriot Donovan Bailey, with whom he teamed up to grab a superb win at the 4x100m sprint relay.
At the 1999 IAAF World Championships in Seville, Surin ran his fastest 100m race ever as he finished a close second in the final.
