2 Litre Dolby was a Sydney indie rock band, which has since broken up. The band began performing live in December 1996, with the line-up of: Leo Mullins (previously of The Welcome Mat) on bass and vocals, Leif Svensson on guitar; Craig "Skull Mc" Peade on drums.
The group appeared on several compilations, before releasing its one and only album, El Caballo Rojo, in 1999 on Half A Cow. The album was recorded and mixed in just 11 days, between August and November 1998, at Charing Cross Studios by Steve Foster, with some assistance provided by Matt Maddock. It was mastered by Festival Records legend William Bowden.
Not long after the album's release, the trio relocated to Melbourne. In March 2001, they travelled to Sydney to play their last ever shows supporting Tweezer - who had reformed to play its last shows proper - over two nights at the Hopetoun in Surry Hills.
Leo Mullins now is part of Melbourne based duo, The Small Knives.
The new Land Rover Freelander 2 / LR2 will come to dealerships later this year.
The SUVs will be sold in nine trims starting from the humble entry-level TD4 S diesel version with locking wheel nuts and six-speed manual, and finishing with almost luxurious Land Rover Freelander i6 HSE.
The latter comes with a 3.2-liter gasoline engine, six-speed automatic gearbox, as well as 12-spoke alloys, climate control and the new Dolby 'pro-logic 2' 7.1 surround sound with 14 speakers.
About once a month they do a day of Plantiac production, amounting to 360,000 litre a year, of which nothing is exported and most is sold to the Northern part of the Netherlands.
The trembling of anticipation grew worse in me. I had yet to see the location where thousands of litres of Plantiac were stored, and I could notice by the way my senses got into a higher state of awareness that it was getting closer.
Before he finally brought me to the last (and most modern) of the storage rooms, he offered me a quick glimpse into the egg nog room, the room where a thick yellow drink called egg nog ('advokaat' in Dutch) is made.
