Madden NFL - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (2339 words)
Due to a contractural obligation, Bill Parcells cannot appear in the Madden NFL series until his television contract with ESPN actually expires (however with ESPN partnering with EA, that remains to be seen for the 07 version).
The first NFL player to be on a Madden NFL cover was Barry Sanders in 1999, for Madden 2000.
The Madden NFL series each year is given annual updates that are generally small, sometimes a new feature or two, and updating the graphics slightly, all for the same $50 price as the previous years' title (now $60 on next-gen consoles).
NFL Blitz 2000 (945 words)
NFL Blitz 2000 is the second iteration in Midway's series of fast, arcade-style football games.
The only problem with the Create-A-Play feature and the Full Season mode is that they take up over 90% of a standard memory card, so you may be forced to sacrifice a number of game saves if you want to play the game to its fullest.
Season Mode and creating plays are fun activities, but require a large memory sacrifice and wear thin after a few weeks of playing.
