The Bilderberg Group met in [[Paris, France] over the course of three days; May 15 - 18, 2003. Famous attendees include;

David Rockefeller; famous inheritor of John D. Rockefeller's fortune, David started the Trilateral Commission, is a member of both the Bilderberg Group and the Council on Foreign Relations as well as being an entreupeneur and philanthropist. Many believe him to be central to 'New World Order' conspiracies, and still others claim his philanthropy only a way to avoid taxes.
Paul Wolfowitz; a neo-conservative designer of the 2003 invasion of Iraq, having been calling for a pre-emptive stike in Iraq from the neo-conservative think tanks since 1993. He only recently came into the lime-light during and after the 2003 invasion of Iraq.
Dick Cheney; The vice president of the United States under George W. Bush. Dick is a neo-conservative and has met criticism for his connections to Halliburton.
Colin Powell; Colin Powell is the outgoing Secretary of State for the first term of George W. Bush's presidency. He is reported to be at odds with other cabinet member, especially Donald Rumself, namely because of disagreements regarding military strategy. (See the Powell Doctrine and the Rumsfeld Doctrine.)
Henry Kissinger; A statesman who had been in politics during the Vietnam War, noted for requesting the use of nuclear weapons againt the Vietmihn and subsequently winning the Nobel Peace Prize.
Donald Rumsfeld; The controversial Secretary of Defense under George W. Bush. Gallop polls reported even the majority of those who see George W. Bush as favorable regard Donald Rumsleld as unfavorable.
Richard Perle; A neo-conservative think-tank fellow, nick-named the 'Prince of Darkness' of the 'beltway.'
Chuck Hagel; Republican congressman.


Issues reportadely addressed at the meeting were globalization, regionalism, Iraq and post-war Iraq, and the usual trade agreement dialogue.

The meeting was initiated by Polish emigre and political adviser, Joseph Retinger.
The location of their annual meeting is not secret, and the agenda and list of participants are openly available to the public, but the topics of the meetings are kept secret and attendees pledge not to divulge what was discussed.
Donald Rumsfeld is an active Bilderberger, as is Peter Sutherland from Ireland, a former European Union commissioner and chairman of Goldman Sachs and of British Petroleum.
