Changes for 2007
In October 2005, Alan Gow announced that the 2007 championship will be contested by cars complying with the FIA's Super 2000 specification regulations.
Cars built to BTC-specification will still be permitted to compete, although they can only be run by independent teams, and technical restrictions mean they will be unable to challenge for wins or outright championships.
