The Swimming competition will comprise various events using all four strokes (Freestyle, Butterfly, Breaststroke and Backstroke) for men and women ranging in distance from 50 m up to 1500 m.


A total of 40 gold medals will available for Championships. The swimming schedule will take place over eight days during the second week of the Championships.
