Possible Additional Entries

  • Xero Competition plan to enter the BTCC with both their Lexus IS200s that they have been developing, the drivers are as yet unnamed.[4]
  • AFM Racing decided to skip the opening part of the season with a view to develop their BMW 120d through testing with Rick Kerry and Nick Leason before entering at a later date. [5]
  • Jason Hughes revealed that once his team has received delivery of the Honda Integra and thereby freeing up the MG ZS, Team KWR may run another driver in it.[6]
  • CMS Motorsport are looking to enter the championship at some stage during the season with a pair of Seat Toledos. [7]

Calendar

The 2008 season will again have ten race weekends with three BTCC rounds at each. A provisional calendar has now been announced by series organisers.[8]
