AllGambian.net| COMMENTARY - 22nd July, 1994 Military Takeover Was No Revolution (1567 words)
In this essay I would like to relate here why I think that the July 1994 military takeover by the present government was neither liberation nor a revolution for Gambia.
An inefficient state that has no control over its expenditure and therefore its debt is all that we can today attribute to the effects of the July 22nd military take over in the Gambia.
We can conclude that the 22nd July 1994 military take over is the fulfillment of few young men's wish to get rich very quickly.
