 | In telecommunications, TIA 232 formerly EIA-232, formerly EIA RS-232 (the RS meaning Recommended Standard) and most commonlly known as just RS-232 is a standard for serial binary data interconnection between a DTE (Data terminal equipment) and a DCE (Data communication equipment). |
