251 Menlove Avenue, named Mendips, is a National Trust property in south Liverpool, England, and was the childhood home of John Lennon. The five-year-old Lennon moved to this address in 1945 when his mother Julia sent him to live with his Aunt Mimi and Uncle George. He remained here until 1963 when he was 23 years old, and The Beatles' hit "She Loves You" was written in its front living room.
