1961 - Apollo program: American president John F. Kennedy announces before a special joint session of Congress his goal to initiate a project to put a "man on the moon" before the end of the decade.
The experiment, commenced in 2003 with the institution of three daily routes from Ridolfi airport, received positive confirmation (thousands of guests in fact used the service in the past season) and as a result the “Unione di Prodotto Costa”, local authorities and the airport have decided to propose the reconfirmation of the service in 2005.
More accessible opening hours are predicted for May 1, day of the official reopening: from 10:30 to 12:30am and from 4 to 7pm.
The exhibition, accessible until next May 31 at the Masedu Museum of Sassari, was organized by the same Alinari Foundation and the Dies Cultural Association with the contribution of the Sassari Province Department of Culture and the participation of the Culture Department of the autonomous region of Sardinia.
