The 374th Airlift Wing is a USAF C-130E/H unit located Yokota Air Base, Japan. It falls under the Fifth Air Force and United States Forces Japan (USFJ), both of which are tenent units on Yokota Air Base. The MAJCOM for the wing is Pacific Air Forces, which is the USAF command for bases in and around the Pacific Rim not in the continuous 48 states. Aircraft of the 374th Airlift Wing are flown by the 36th Airlift Squadron (36 AS) and maintained primarily by the 374th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron (374 AMXS). The wing also flies C-21 and UH-1 DV support aircraft that are maintained by contracted mechanics and flown by the 459th Airlift Squadron (459 AS).
