On 27 August 1994, Delores was murdered by her boyfriend Donald Bohana for apparently refusing to lend Bohana money to cover nearly $2 million in debts [1]. 3T dedicated their debut album to their mother.


Career

3T released their debut album, Brotherhood in 1995 on MJJ Music, the music label owned by their uncle Michael Jackson at the time. The album reportedly sold approximately three million copies worldwide. They scored an international hit with their debut single, "Anything" and released several more well received singles "24/7", "Why" (a duet with Michael Jackson), "I Need You" (with Michael Jackson on backing vocals) and "Gotta Be You". 3T later wrote and produced songs for the soundtracks to such films as Men in Black, Free Willy and Free Willy 2, The Jacksons: An American Dream, and Trippin'. Today the group continues to perform in the Netherlands, the UK, Belgium, and Spain. Their last album Identity was released independently on 23 March 2004, alongside their first single "Stuck On You" (a cover of the Lionel Richie song) and "Sex Appeal".
