OCCULTATION BY (400) DUCROSA - 2007 Jun 14
On 2007 Jun 14 UT, the 34 km diameter asteroid (400) Ducrosa will occult a 11.2 mag star in the constellation Sagittarius for observers along a fairly narrow path across southern New Zealand near Te Anau, north east Victoria near Wodonga and south-western New South Wales.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 3.4 mag to 14.6 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 3.4 seconds.
