On 2007 Apr 21 UT, the 45 km diameter asteroid (461) Saskia will occult a moderately bright 6.6 mag star in the constellation Virgo for observers along a path across Australia, from Bundaberg in southern Queensland to Wyndham in Western Australia.
In the case of an occultation, the combined light of the asteroid and the star will drop by 8.4 mag to 15.0 mag (the magnitude of the asteroid) for at most 3.8 seconds.
