650B (584 mm ISO) Wheel-Tire Conversions (1039 words)
The major obstacle to switching from 622 (700C) to 584 (650B) is the issue of brake reach.
Since the 584 rim has a radius 19 mm smaller than the 622, you will need to replace your present brake calipers with some that have an appropriately long reach.
Some frames may have forks or rear stays that are too narrow to permit the use of wider 584 tires, but most often this won't be a problem, since the stays and fork blades get wider apart as they head toward the hubs.
Eaton Aerospace - Avionic Switch 584 (211 words)
The Series 584 Lighted Pushbutton switch is designed to meet the demands of avionics, maritime and vetronic applications in the crew stations of aircraft, ships, off-road vehicles and control systems.
From the switch mechanism to the optics, the 584 is designed with the final application in mind.
The 584 is not a simple repackaging of another manufacturer's basic switches with a lighted button added to the unit, but it is a "ground up" design offering the shortest, lightest, four pole configuration in the industry.
