The 68h family of 8-bit processors is based upon the Motorola6800 CPU. However not just Motorola produced or innovated on that design. The chips primarily competed against Intel's IA-8 family of chips, the 8080, or their relations, the ZilogZ80.
In Aceh, one of the areas most ravaged by the December 2004 tsunami, the radio news agency 68H is helping rebuild the province's media one station at a time.
68H is also distributing 700 radios to people in refugee camps and building fresh water wells using funds raised by 68H listeners in Indonesia.
68H is Indonesia's only independent national radio news agency, reaching 20 million listeners across the country through a network of over 400 local radio stations.
This rapid expansion is proof that there is demand for 68H programmes and that station managers have faith in their quality.
The programmes 68H broadcasts are heard by more than 8 million listeners from Sabang in Aceh to Merauke in Papua – equivalent to the distance from London to Tehran.
68H is their friend, a part of the transition towards a better Indonesia.
