| It’s very possible that a 720p render will “throw away” or to put it in another way, choose not to try and render the thinnest lines because they are much smaller than the 720p pixels. |
| Instead of a white pixel the render would render a light-grey pixel (as in my figure) and the native 720p line will be more accurate than the 1080p-to-720p downscaled line, but obviously this is much more demanding compared to if the rendered had filtered out the thin lines. |
