  • 82nd Regiment of Foot (Invalids), raised in 1757 and renumbered the 72nd in 1764
  • 82nd Regiment of Foot, raised in 1777
  • 82nd Regiment of Foot (Prince of Wales's Volunteers), raised in 1793
