 | Troop 834 was chartered in 1978, and since then has become one of the most active and respected units in the area. |
| Troop 834 is a "family Troop" in that we all strongly feel that most successful Scouts are supported very strongly by their family. |
| It is through this type of involvement that our sons get to use, and teach, the many Scouting skills they have learned over the years, and mature into well balanced, self-confident young men that do not compromise the basic values outlined in the Scout Oath and the Scout Law. |
