Nature Photography Forum: 8x10 versus 8x12 prints (2035 words)
Not that it made a difference, but I was able to locate a few economical 8X12" frames at discount stores.
Light Impressions carries matts that are precut to fit 8x12 and 12x18.
Myself, I fit my printing sizes to the format of the film I shoot (35mm and 5x7, which are both similar), instead of cropping because the format of the film does satisfy me better.
