Porsche 914 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (637 words)
The Porsche 914 was an automobile built collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche from 1969 through 1975.
It was originally intended it to be sold in four cylinder trim as a Volkswagen, to be the top-spec VW sports car, and in six cylinder trim as a Porsche, to be Porsche's entry level car, replacing the 912.
914 production ended in 1975 (though some leftover 1975 production was sold as 1976 model year cars), two years prior to the introduction of its eventual replacement, the 924.
Area code 914 - Education - Information - Educational Resources - Encyclopedia - Music (306 words)
914 is the area code for Westchester County, New York.
Up until 2000, the 914 area code also served the counties of Rockland, Putnam, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Delaware, Greene and Columbia in addition to Westchester.
However, due to the ever-growing popularity and commercialization of cell phones and internet dial-up connections, the area code was split on June 5, 2000 with Westchester retaining 914, and the remaining counties receiving the new area code of 845.
