The station is mainly aimed at a family audience with chart songs being played at least 3-4 times an hour. There is also a good mix of older songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Music features include "The Mystery 5 at 9". In its broadcast area its listenership outstrips London rivals like Capital 958 and Heart, relying on good local news and travel information. In early 2007, the station was renamed Eagle Radio to move into the new digital era. Currently Eagle Radio runs a Weekend Competition entitled Grand Weekends. This is where callers have to listen out to the artist which is selected to be played at certain times during the weekend, to register for the competition. Then at 07:45 on Monday morning, if they are called and answer the phone with the Artist's name, they win £1000. Eagle Radio was the first radio station in the UK to run the infamous "Fugitive" promotion in 2001. Station Schedule
