Based on Chiltern Road in Dunstable, Bedfordshire. Originally owned, like its sister station on 96.9FM, Northants 96 and FM 103 Horizon by the Chiltern Radio Network, which became the Chiltern Radio Group. Before MW/FM frequencies were split by all commercial stations around 1990, it had two MW frequencies on 828 and 792MW. It also used to have Three Counties Radio's Bedfordshire frequency of 95.5FM. Current transmitter is at Zouches Farm, between Luton and Dunstable, close to the M1, which is indeed on the Chiltern Hills.
