A Day in the Life was an emo band formed out of Dayton, Ohio. Before changing their name and lineup to the successful Hawthorne Heights, they released one album; Nine Reasons to Say Goodbye, which was later re-issued by J.T 's own record label, Carbon Copy Media, in July, 2006. They also contributed 5 songs to a split CD with Hit The Lights and The REDaffair. J.T. Woodruff was the only member to continue in Hawthorne Heights, while Jesse Blair and Andy Lazier currently play in REDaffair, and Andy Saunders in Viv Savage and The Big Finish.
