A Dozen Furies is a Texas-based metalcore band. They won the Battle for Ozzfest, on MTV, where eight bands battle it out for a recording deal with Sanctuary Records. The twist was only one member from each band could compete. Marc Serrano, the lead guitarist, was chosen to compete. On January 18, 2004, ADF won Battle for Ozzfest. After the show, they toured Ozzfest 2005, and later released the full-length album "A Concept From Fire", that included the song "An Idea and Some Rope", which was showed on Battle For Ozzfest.
