The 7" remix of "A Question of Time" might be more different from it's album version than any other Depeche Mode single, along with Strangelove, Behind the Wheel, In Your Room and Freelove. The once somewhat slow-paced industrial song is now a fast-paced techno dance track.


There is no new track for a B-Side, just a remix of "Black Celebration" and various live tracks.


The music video for "A Question of Time" is the first DM video to be directed by Anton Corbijn and brought forth a big relationship with him and the band which still lasts to this day. It was included on the Strange video and The Videos 86-98. Anton Corbijn (born May 20, 1955 in Strijen, the Netherlands) is a photographer who is also well known for directing music videos, including Depeche Modes late 1989 clip Personal Jesus and Nirvanas Heart-Shaped Box (1993). ...

Question Time is a section of proceedings in the Parliaments of the United Kingdom and several other countries which use the Westminster system, including Australia and New Zealand, and in Canada, where it is called Question Period.
During Question Time, backbenchers (members of Parliament who are not Ministers), including members of the minority parties, ask questions of the government's Ministers, which they are obliged to answer.
The Question is addressed to the portfolio of the Minister receiving the question, and the questioner must ask the question as written.
