A Woman's Face is a 1941 MGM film based on the play, Il Etait Une Fois by Francis De Croisset. The film starred Joan Crawford, Melvyn Douglas, and Conrad Veidt. In the film, set in Stockholm, Crawford plays Anna, a physically scarred woman, who blackmails others to get back at the world. After Anna has a series of operations, to restore her face, she finds she no longer is able to return to her old ways.
