The first track from the album to be made public was "Hello and Welcome", released as a stand-alone single in 2005. Philosophy

Like all Enigma albums, A Posteriori reflects the enigmatic uniqueness in the philosophy of all the songs. The Andromeda Galaxy, Our Milky Way and the Inter-galatic phenomenas are the basis of this album, with songs like "Dreaming of Andromeda", "Goodbye Milky Way" to depict the allegorical as well as actual significance. The last line of the last song of this album "Goodbye Milky Way" depicts the unavoidable cosmic catastrophe - "In 5 Billion years, Andromeda galaxy will collide with our Milky Way. A new gigantic cosmic world will be born." Scientists believe that this collision might erase the separate identities of each galaxy, leaving a single elliptical galaxy in their place^[3], thus Cretu signifies the name "Goodbye Milky Way" - "Mission is over, Mission is done, I will miss you, Children of the Sun."
