Hasbro (NYSE: HAS) is an American toy and game company. ...
The toyline is inspired by the recent G.i. Joe Sigma 6 line released by Hasbro for the American market. Speculation - The franchise takes much of its inspiration from the 1980s' M.A.S.K. toyline from Kenner (which Hasbro bought in 1991), (even down to the code name lettering), as each vehicle for the A.T.O.M members changes from one ordinary looking terrain vehicle to anything that ranges from a jet car with unfolding door wings, to a bike that soon propels its driver into the air as a helicopter. Many of the M.A.S.K similarities are obvious, for example, Axel's car, in defense mode if not form, resembles Matt Trakker's Thunderhawk, Brad Turner's Condor is also imitated. The M.A.S.K.
