The A3400 is a road in the Midlands of England, running from Solihull to Oxford. At each end it joins up with the A34, of which it was originally one section. The road was renumbered to A3400 after the creation of the M40 motorway took away most of its traffic, leaving the route with a lower traffic volume than its designed capacity.
The road begins at a roundabout junction with the A40 road on the northern outskirts of Oxford in Oxfordshire.
Continuing in a north-westerly direction, the road passes the town of Pershore, and later meets the A422 road and A4538 road at a junction where the road turns left.
It terminates on the A487 road in the centre of the town.
The A3400 is a road in the Midlands of England, running from Hockley Heath (near Solihull) to a junction with the A44 near Chipping Norton.
The road was renumbered in the early 1990s, after the newly completed M40 motorway took away most of its long-distance traffic, leaving the route with a lower traffic volume than its designed capacity.
The A3400 passes through a number of attractive market towns in Warwickshire including Henley-in-Arden, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Shipston-on-Stour.
