The A9home uses a program called Aemulor to emulate for older 26bit applications. This was originally developed for Castle's IYONIX PC.

The A9home is the retail version of the A9, it is available now to developers, direct from Advantage Six.
At the present time samples are available through the developer scheme (above), with the exception that, subject to qualification, you may choose to continue support directly through Advantage Six.
