AB-Aktion was a campaign to kill leaders of the Polish resistance and cause fear among the Polish population. It was planned by the Military Committee and ordered by Government Chief, Hans Frank on May 16, 1940. During AB-Aktion, 3500 Polish resistance leaders and 3000 people suspected of anti-Nazi activities were murdered. This article covers the Secret State of Poland during World War II. AB 541 passed out of the Assembly Judiciary Committee in April 2007 with a 7-to-3 vote of support, and has been held in the Assembly Agriculture Committee for a second hearing in January 2008.
AB 541 importantly establishes the right of farmers and other landowners to recover damages if their property is contaminated by GE crops, and it places the responsibility for the economic harms that arise where it belongs with the manufacturer, the owner of the GE seed or plant.
AB 541 also establishes a GE crop notification process where farmers and researchers growing GE crops report the growing of their crops to their county Agriculture Commissioners.
