Kings Park Stadium, also known for sponsorship reasons as ABSA Stadium, is a football stadium in Durban, South Africa which was originally built in 1891 and extensively renovated in 1990.
It has a capacity of 52,000, and is used for both football (soccer) and rugby.
Kings Park will no longer be a venue for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, as a new 75,000 seater stadium will be constructed where the existing adjacent Kings Park Soccer Stadium stands.

JOHANNESBURG -- Absa has taken over the naming rights for Kings Park Stadium in Durban, and the rugby and football stadium was yesterday officially renamed The Absa Stadium.
Absa said it believed the name change would be to the advantage of the stadium and the sports of rugby and soccer.
"Absa is proud to be associated with a stadium that has such a rich history and will endeavour to continue building on its heritage well into the new millennium.
