Afi: Sing The Sorrow Review @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com (6527 words)
His singing has very noticeably improved and matured with every album, and with his broad vocal style that can manage anything from hardcore to ballads coupled with the haunting elegance of his lyrics, there is not a single moment on the CD which isn't pure rapture to listen to.
AFI have been repeatedly accused of being 'Sell-Outs' since the new album was released, as a lot of people were convinced that they had changed their sound to sell records.
AFI have lost a lot of fans through the change to their sound, but they have gained a lot as well, so it looks like the gamble on AFI's part has resonably paid off.
