The Agram 2000 is a CroatSubmachine gun based on Beretta's PM12. It was produced in large numbers under communism, but Croatia replaced all weapons using Russian ammunition after independence to gain acceptance into the European Union. The vast numbers of ex-special forces agrams floating around Croatia as well as the availability of a sound suppressor has made it a popular choice for criminals. It features a military-friendly foregrip and an increased rate of fire over the PM12. The Agram2000 has proved to be quite popular on the world market, both in military and civilian versions.
There is also a version called the Agram 2002; it has no foregrip, and the rear sights are tangent leaf types instead of the simple flip-up types of the Agram2000.
