Aaron Herr (born March 7, 1981 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania) is the son of former Major League Baseball player Tom Herr. Aaron Herr was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the first round of the 2000 amateur early draft, and he was later selected by the Seattle Mariners in the Rule V draft but was later released. He also chipped in 81 RBI in 112 games. Aaron Herr played briefly with the Lancaster Barnstormers until he was signed by the St. Louis Cardinals and allocated to their AA farm team, the Springfield Cardinals, in 2005.[1] He now plays with the Louisville Bats, the AAA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds.[2] He had his best season for the Springfield Cardinals in 2005 when he hit .298 with 21 home runs.
