Aberdeen Journals Ltd. is a newspaper publisher based in Aberdeen in the United Kingdom.


The company publishes the Press and Journal and Evening Express newspapers. It is owned by Northcliffe Newspapers Group which is itself in turn owned by Daily Mail & General Trust.


In 2002 Aberdeen Journals Ltd was fined £1 million by the UK Office of Fair Trading for engaging in predatory pricing practices.

For the most part, his findings come from Scottish newspapers like the Aberdeen journal, Fife Advertiser, Scottish Guardian, as well from a handful of documents in the Scottish Record Office and other archives.
