Abu Gorab is a solar Temple and Pyramid of the ancient Egypt, discovered around the year 1900. It is located near the city of Menfi, belongs to the fifth dynasty of Egypt, and Pharaoh Neferirkare built in homage to the Sun god Ra.

Abu Gorab (also known as Abu Gurob and Abu Jirab) is a temple built by the people of ancient Egypt and, discovered around the year 1900.
Abu Gorab was probably constructed late in Niuserre's reign, sometime after 2420 BC.
The temple was built solely for the purpose of honoring Ra, and was not used as a burial place.

He is famous for both his solar temple at Abu Gorab and his pyramid at Abu Sir.
The reliefs in the burial chamber of his pyramid describe his military campaigns against Libyan rivals in the Western Desert and against the Asiatics in Sinai.
His two wives, Reputneb and Khentikus, were buried near him at Abu Sir.
