Ace Drummond was a comic strip drawn by Clayton Knight and written by Eddie Rickenbacker. It was distributed by King Features Syndicate and ran from 1935 to 1940. This article is about the comic strip, the sequential art form as published in newspapers and on the Internet. ... "Ace Drummond" is one of the very first sound serials and although it is shot very crudely, more like a stage play than an action drama, there is some nice footage of actual dogfights and this is a pretty good print for a 1936 film.
