Encyclopedia > Achiltibuie

Achiltibuie is a long linear village in the County of Cromartyshire, on the Coigach coast of North Western Scotland, overlooking Loch Broom and the Summer Isles which lie to the west. Located 10 miles north west of Ullapool, Achiltibuie is home to the Hydroponicum, a garden where plants are grown in water and without soil. It is the last stop on the road to Achduart.
