Acid Reign were a Britishthrash metal band who formed in 1985. The lineup was completed by Mark Ramsey on drums & keyboards, Adam Lehan on guitars, "Mac" on bass, "Kev" on guitars, and a vocalist (growler) Höwärd Smïth who was known simply as H. At one point in their history, Gary "Gaz" Jennings played guitar, who would later move on to join the legendary doom metal act Cathedral. They released their first demo, "Moshkinstein" in 1987, and the following year released an EP of the same name. They disbanded in 1991 after releasing three full-length albums, "The Fear", "Obnoxious", and "The Worst of Acid Reign", an EP of re-recorded song 'Humanoia' and a Christmas single of 'Hanging On The Telephone (originally by Blondie). After they disbanded, Kev moved on to join Lawnmower Deth, under the monicker "Baron Kev Von Thresh Meister Silo Stench Chisel Marbels" Since their breakup in the 1990's other bands with the same popular name have followed such as Staffordshire based Band "Acid Reign"(A County in the UK), who combine the agressiveness of hardcore and new wave metal. www.acidreigntheband.com Image File history File links Wiki_letter_w. ...
