Dakhla, or Ad Dakhla (formerly Villa Cisneros) is a city in Morocco, its a town of about 30,000 inhabitants and is about 550 km south of Laayoune on the Atlantic Coast.
Dakhla covers the range of hotels from unclassifieds to the 3-star Doumss.
It is a strange place, just north of the town streets, with low houses, full of tiny windows, where women have put their faces, waiting for possible clients.
Dakhla is more laid back in its military things than Laayoune.
