Adalla of Silla (r. 154-184, d. 184), often known by his formal title Adalla Isageum, was the eighth ruler of the ancient Korean kingdom of Silla. He was the eldest son of King Ilseong. He married the daughter of King Jima. Like his mother and wife, he was a descendant of Silla founder Bak Hyeokgeose. Judging from the reports in the Samguk Sagi, Adalla's reign was a time of considerable expansion. He is said to have opened the road over Haneuljae (in present-day Mungyeong) in 157, and also the pass of Jungnyeong (in present-day Yeongju) in 159. If true, this would lend credence to the Samguk Sagi's subsequent report of clashes with Baekje in 166 and 168.
