ADAMS ENTERS CORPORATE JET MARKET (519 words)
The A700 has an 29 inch extended fuselage, is powered by two Williams International FJ-33 turbofan engines rated at 1,200 pounds of thrust each, and has room for six (two crew and four cabin) with an aft lavatory said to be as roomy as an airliner's.
The A700 uses the same wing, which was designed for 400 knots; it retains the distinctive twin boom and empennage of the A500, while replacing the front and rear-mounted piston engines with nose and tail cones, and the wing is slipped back 42 inches to balance out the center of gravity.
The A700 cabin measures 245 cubic feet, as opposed to the Mustang (180) or the Eclipse (210).
