Adam Guettel (pronounced "Gettle"; b. 1965), son of Mary Rodgers and grandson of Richard Rodgers, is an American musical theater composer and lyricist. A graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and Yale, his works include Floyd Collins, Love's Fire, Saturn Returns (also known as Myths and Hymns), and The Light in the Piazza starring Victoria Clark, Kelli O'Hara, Matthew Morrison, and Patti Cohenour.
