The company was formed in 1996 as a result of the merger of the French company Ecco and the Swiss Adia Interim, and currently has over 6600 offices in over 75 countries worldwide. It is controlled by the businessmen, Klaus Jacobs and Philippe Foriel-Destezet, the two executives who created the merger.
