Adem Ilhan is an English musician from South London, who releases music under the name 'Adem' (pronounced AH-dem). His music is sometimes described as being part of the nu-folk movement. He is also the bassist in the band Fridge, with Kieran Hebden, better known as electronica artist Four Tet. Hebden mixed Adem's debut album. The song "Statued" from his debut album Homesongs is featured on the soundtrack of the film Dead Man's Shoes.
