Adi Granov is a Bosnian (not Israeli as believed by some)-born comic book artist and conceptual designer. He was named in August 2004 as one of Marvel Comics' "Young Guns", a group of artists who have the qualities that make "a future superstar penciller", according to Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada. He recently teamed with comic book writer Warren Ellis for the post-Avengers Disassembled relaunch of Iron Man. He will also help design the Iron Man suit for Jon Favreau's 2008 Iron Man film. Granov couldn't reveal too many details about what's coming up in the story, but we do have - among other things - his take on the characters, information on how he came to be a Young Gun, and his thoughts on working with Ellis.
Granov is excited to be working on this project for many reasons.
Granov is hoping by the time the first issue comes out he'll be far enough ahead on the art to have a completely uninterrupted run.
